What to do this weekend? Or this month?
Chicago Craft Beer Festival
May 14th-24th: If you’re a beer lover, which so many of us are here in Chicago with the craft beer scene we have, then this next week is just your thing! Chicago Craft Beer Week starts today and goes for a whole week all over the city. Different bars, restaurants, and parks are throwing events and participating in some way or another. For a complete list of participants and locations, check out this link here for more information on what’s free vs. ticket-required.
Bike the Drive
May 29th: Do you like bike riding? Do you like the weekend? If you answered yes, then you should register for Bike the Drive. The is a great opportunity to gather your family or a group of friends and bike down Lake Shore Drive, which has been shut down just for this event. This means no motor operated vehicles allowed. It’s safe and fun for all ages.
Bike the 606
Can’t make it to Bike the Drive on the 29th? Head on over to The 606 trail and admire the new 2.7 miles of repurposed rail line that’s now a multi-recreational trail. We’ve walked it so far and we highly recommend it. Afterwards, you can enjoy some great food in the Logan Square neighborhood.
Cheers to increasingly beautiful weather in Chicago!
